I didn't see this call for help....sorry Connie Jean. I don't know everything of course but if you don't have anything uploaded to YouTube or ReverbNation, why not try podbean? I've used the player on my blog on myspace as well as in the Lit Forum there. Audio only. If you need help, call a little louder and maybe I can fumble my way through to help. [sometimes I forget how I've done things and must re-visit elementary things I was sure I'd mastered.] =;-)

There's a button top-left of the reply window specifically for embedding You Tube videos here. When you click on it, it tells you how to do it. Neat and simple (if you've got stuff already uploaded to You Tube.)

Oh, well, hello there...I just found a link to this in one of the music forums in Myspace. So this is kind of like the Myspace music forums? I didn't even know this part of facebook existed! Anyway, I'm just getting some music uploaded and pages set up and things. 60s garage rock, psychedelia, Beatles, Syd Barrett etc. is the sort of sound I'm into...

Hi Trevor - welcome. This is a pretty new forum mostly populated by frustrated Myspace users. At least here, you can embed videos and so on - just like you used to be able to do on the Myspace forums, but can't any longer.

Good song, by the way - and I like the video of random images!

Thanks! I'd like to make a "real" video eventually, with me singing or something, but for now I thought I should just provide something to look at! It seems like people like Youtube videos 'cause it's just so easy to click on the link...

I like how you can "quote" in this forum, unlike the regular facebook pages. I was actually starting to get fairly active in the Myspace music forums about 3 or 4 years ago, but then moved, new job etc., and kind of lost my momentum for a while. I remember I was a big fan of Plastic Dave, and I guess he passed away? Matt Stevens told me, and he (Plastic Dave) has a memoriam page on reverbnation...

So, hope to get to know some of you better now!

I really like the idea of the video though Trevor - I like the randomness, much more interesting than watching someone sing!

Yes PD passed away. I didn't really know him - lots of other guys knew him on that internet jamming thing (forget what it's called). Those who did said he was a great guy. I saw him on the forum, where he was a Jekyll and Hyde figure. I could tell from some of his posts he was a clever guy who had a genuine passion for music, but sadly, most of his posts seemed to be full of bile and hatred, and I figured that wading through the trolling wasn't worth it, so I stopped reading any of his posts.

It was only after he died that I heard so much more about the good side of his nature. A great shame.
