Here is a Report that I had gotten from a Second option doctor...

Stable multi nodular goiter, multiple nodules devoid of suspicious features. Low vitamin D (18.3 )which needs to be corrected, as this can lead to Secondary hyperparathyroidism, Vit D may be significant in terms of low bone mass in spine and hip. Normal forearm bone density would indicate that she does not have significant adverse effects from her Borderline Hyperparathyroid state.criteria for adenoma removal include: stones, persistent high Ca levels, and significant cortical bone loss. None of these exists, so she can be safely followed with PTH, and Ca measurements.
His ultrasound conclusion: blah blah blah...multi nodules , and here it is.....
A color flow Doppler shows a 7.4 mm vascular pattern suggestive of a parathyroid adenoma.

Now, I've had Ca levels in the 10's, and a couple of jumps to 11.1, 11.0, my Vit continues to go down, and my ionized also continues to go up.  This doctor wanted to put me on mega doses of Vit D to " Regulate my Calcium".

Borderline parathyroid disease??? What is that??? Is there even such a thing???

Now, I don't know if there is a tumor there or not by what the Scan  says, but I would bet there is a tumor there because of what my Numbers say!  And that is what I choose to go by. In addition to the sx as well. I refused his RX and ran from this office.

I am thankful that I knew a bit more than this doctor did. This is some of that stinking thinkin!
Folks, get Dr. Normans app!  It told me all I needed to know, and cost me a lot less than that appointment did!
