 OFFLINE | Ruby Linhan is my therapist and I couldn't ask for a better one. I had been seraching for a long time for a therapist who handles gender issues, along with a lot of other stuff I deal with. And it was a true miracle that I found her.
She is funny, very concerning, and helpful. She will let you talk all you want, without interupting. And she listens to ever word, and is genuinely concerned about you and your health and well being. She can provide tips and help as well, but she will leave most of the work up to you, because it is up to you to make a change to better yourself.
She takes Medicare, Caresource and Molina, and is located just north of campus on High Street. And she has a nice comfy couch to lay on once you are there, which is truly one of my must haves for a therapist. I need to feel comfortable in a space where I am opening up so much. I hate the sterile environments of desks and metal chairs. So formal, uncomfortable and unsettling.
She also has color books (for adults she said! she does not see children) which I took advantage of, since I love to color, and it was My Little Pony so I couldn't resist coloring a picture of Pinky Pie  So if you are looking for a therapist to deal with gender issues, and that will give you papers for hormones, and is an awesome person, I couldn't possible tell you to go anywhere else but here. I recomend her with my utmost sincerity.
