OFFLINE | This is a thread for me to share (mostly) doom that I like and think deserves more attention. It's an upload thread, but the links aren't mine, they're from blogs and ****.
To kick it off:
Hands of Orlac - Vengeance from the Grave
http://www.mediafire.com/?lmm20e2wldw
Just like nearly every other Italian doom metal band out there, they do their own thing, and they do it well. Trad doom with female vocals and some flute and organ thrown in, but I'd discourage from comparing them to Blood Ceremony, they're really original. |

OFFLINE | Kay, now if I get no feedback for the following album, it will be clear proof that this thread was a bad idea.
Yog-Sothoth - "Hypnotic Crushery"
http://www.mediafire.com/?9xbi9jbdzy7xl3i
This kind of sludgy doom is beyond compare. Completely instrumental, heavier than a black hole, and with some subtle yet noticeable use of a theremin (just some instrument widely used in sci-fi b-movie soundtracks) and an organ. |

OFFLINE | Or it could just mean it took us this long to look LOL! Good idea not flaunting a upload thread as an upload thread in the title. Downside it may take a bit for people to read it |

OFFLINE | I know you will like the Yog-Sothoth. Their style isn't set to any particular tempo, they use different sorts of instruments, and they just have really original riffs and song structures.
Oh and best of all, they're from Minneapolis |

OFFLINE | Holy ****, my posts are multiplying!
Ok, I guess I'm interested in keeping this thread alive. But, being not sure what to post next, I decided on this as a pretty safe bet:
Bang - s/t

This is proto-doom... what else do I gotta say? It's good ****, definitely recommended for fans of Black Sabbath, Bedemon and Pentagram. |

OFFLINE | I haven't able to stop listening to this EP lately, so I decided to post here.
All You Can Eat - s/t

I'm not gonna lie, the style is straight pop-punk, but it's actually pretty good. Give it a try and see if you don't get addicted to the song "This Die-Cast Metal has Life." |
