| Roast Pork with Seasonally fresh Apples
Pre heat the oven to Gas5, 190°C, 375°F,
Place the Pork on a roasting tray and lightly oil and salt the skin,
Cover with foil and cook for 35 mins per 1lb (454g),
Forthe final hour of cooking add some seasonal vegetables to the roasting tray then,
With half an hour to go, add some lovely seasonally fresh apples to the roasting tray. (Half and core the apples)
Finally remove the Pork, and allow resting for 10 minutes as the roast vegetables finish in the oven.
Tip. Adding some fluids (water/cider) to the bottom of the roasting tray creates a lovely sauce as the Pork roasts, this will be the base for some fantastic gravy. |
