So I just got the amp, it was working fine for the first day.
Just find out today that the amp stop working because the protect light (yellow) was on. Sometimes it just off and work again, then the next minute it went to protect mode again.
Sub is 12" MTX TS55 DVC 2 ohm, running at 4 ohm (measured 4.2 ohm at output terminal).
The positive and negative at the amp measured at ~14v when it went to protect. The remote and ground measured at ~13.4v.
I connect the sub at speaker a+ and a- terminal.

Is there any info about what cause the protect (yellow) led on? Or is this a bad amp?

Is there any problem if I install at speaker A+ and B- (like a bridge in 2 channel amp)?

Last question, is that mean that minimum output for speaker A is 1 ohm and speaker B is also 1 ohm? Or is it mean if I am using both output, minimum load per output is 2 ohm?
If I did the first option (running both output with 1 ohm load), what will happen? What ohm will the amp running at?

Thanks for any input.

have you checked the impedance on both voice coils? protect light usually comes on if the impedance drops too low or polarity is wrong. try another sub with that amp and see if the protect light comes on. Also the two speaker inputs just makes wiring easier if you have 2 or more subs. The two terminals are wired parallel internally so if you use both terminals use a 2 ohm load minimum on each terminal to achieve a 1 ohm load. I like to use the positive of 1 input and the negative of the other and use it as 1 input.

So if I use positive from speaker A and negative from speaker B, there shouldn't be any issues, right?
Never check impedance on each coil, since sub already mounted on the box, but the final impedance is 4 ohm still, so I assume both coil are good.
Multimeter at amp shows that impedance is 4.x ohm when the amp in protect mode.
Is it possible that's a defect amp? Sometimes the amp work fine though.

Yeah that amp may be defected if its going into protect mode with a 4 ohm load. I used to have a t1000-1bdcp and ran a 4 ohm load and never had it go into protect. I would test another sub before you jump to conclusion on the defective amp.
