What do you think of movie remakes?

I usually don't like them, but was very impressed with the remade Halloween.

Well I usually prefer the original movie. USA has just recently made a remake of a swedish flick called, "Let the right one come in...", that will be exciting to see the American version of  - it's not that common that a swedish film become a remake, in another country.

I haven't seen "Let the Right One In" yet, but I've heard that it's good. David Fincher is remaking the Swedish film "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"; it's due to come out next year I believe.

Yeah, of course that one too. Have you seen the The girl with the Dragon Tatoo? It's triology - they are pretty good actually...for being Swedish lol!

"Let the right one come in", did gain a lot of attention because the book is apparently very good so I had a lot of expectations on the movie. But I was a little disapointed. There is also a lot facts which is very important to know, to keep the story together so to speak but which was never explained in the film.
