OFFLINE | Does anyone know the real RMS of the newer T1 subs? I own a RF 12 inch T1 (newer version) which is rated at 800 watts RMS but it seems like it can handle a lot more. |

OFFLINE | The 800 watts RMS is the true rating, keep in mind the previous version T1's were only 600 watts RMS. The new IDHS design and embedded copper heat sink shorting ring is what gives the new T1 woofer the ability to jump from 600-800 watts RMS. |

OFFLINE | Rockfords are known to be able to handle more... any sub can handle more if safely applied. know that anything over 800 watts will void any warranties you have on the sub if it blows. |

OFFLINE | My thoughts exactly. My T1 is taking 1000 unclipped watts like a champ. |
