OFFLINE | One California neighborhood is living with a prolific cat burglar in its midst, but nobody is really worried about losing any items for good. They know where Dusty, the Klepto Cat, lives.
Dusty has taken at least 600 items over the past three years, from shoes to stuffed bears to towels to bathing suits, KGO-TV reports.
Dusty, who belongs to Jean Chu and Jim Coleman in San Mateo, makes the rounds at night, hauling back the stolen goods in the early morning.
The Animal Planet TV show Must Love Cats documented Dusty's stealthy misdemeanors using a night-vision camera.
Chu says Dusty's record is bringing back 11 items in one night, KGO-TV reports.

OFFLINE | I've seen that! I love it! Did you know that's a Snowshoe cat? They aren't real common, and are actually part Siamese, but I think it's a recognized breed. I have seen other stories of cats that steal, lol. I wonder if they think they are dragging home "fresh kill" or something? They like to share that, you know.. |

OFFLINE | Thats a good thought Sarah. Probably thinks he's dragging home something he killed. Or maybe instead, the cat has been brainwashed by the CIA and is in training to infiltrate Kadaffi's hideout and steal his laundry.
No one would EVER suspect the cat.
