The Qur'an is not written in true chronological order. There are some some conflicts if it is read in the printed order. To rectify the conflicts the chronological order is then taken into account and the newest verses take precedence, over ruling the earlier verses.
A Qur'an program with English translations can be found at zekr.org.
Another highly influential source for Muslim study is the Hadith. The Hadith is a journal of sorts of the acquaintances of Mohammed and should be added to any serious study of the Muslims. |
