Can I obtain a ME even if I use my level 40 Agumon on level 10 Elecmon? Cause I saw some people with like level 60 digimon fighting them and I was like...wth? Cause I don't get anything from fighting them. So can I still obtain them???

No, once your digimon is 10 levels above an enemny, it will no longer drop items for you.

Event items on the other hand, drop from anything at any level.

I also have a quest regarding mercenary eggs. Are eggs with higher data count like 10 (i.e. Impmon and Renamon) harder to hatch than those of a lower data count?

Not sure. There is some theory's about some eggs being easier to hatch, or some digimon drop more Merc eggs than others.

I think it's just a bunch of bull. It's a percent chance of success in hatching and getting a merc egg drop. All about luck.


May or may not be true, but I don't think it is.

Its an illusion, Merc eggs drop rate are all the same...its just the matter of luck.
About the illusion part...its linked to the spread and amount of the type of digimon around. e.g.

Kunemon
Amount: Average
Max Merc per trip: 8 (level 1-16 on full team 200% event)
Spread: Centralised
Area: Small

Okuwagamon
Amount: above average
Max Merc per trip: 2 (Level 46-48 on full team 50%)
Spread: 2 group
Area: Big

Weregaruru
Amount: Many
Max egg per trip: 8 (Level 34-35 on full team 50%)
Spread: 1/3 of Oil 1
Area: Medium

Garudamon
Amount: Average
Max egg per trip: 12 (Level 36-37 on full team 200%)
Spread: Centralised
Area: Very Small

Renamon
Amount: Small
Max egg per trip: 5 (Level 20-21 on full team)
Spread: Centralised
Area: Very Small

Kiwimon
Amount: Many
Max egg per trip: 4 (Level 16-17 solo 100%)
Spread: Wide Spreaded
Area: Big

These are just some of the best examples i'd experienced.
note: i have 10 digis so can experience many times...
