This thread is for information concerning upstanding labels and distros that deserve our money and support. If you've ordered from a label or distro online and they've given you nothing but professional courtesy and a great buying experience other people should know about it. If you've had a less than desireable experience with a label that would be appropriate to post here too, but please tell us the facts, and try to maintain a mature composure about it. Sometimes stuff goes wrong and I don't want this to lead to the unneccesary besmirching of a labels reputation.

That said, all of my testimony comes from buying based in the Midwest of the United States. Obviously shipping time and costs may differ based on where you live.

A doomster and trad metalheads paradise. Specializing obscure and fantastic records from the mentioned genres along with an intresting and lovely selection of other genres, this label is run by a dude who obviously is passionate about what he does. Deserves much support.

More black metal than you could shake a crucifix at. Considering these guy are based out of Italy, and that the postal system over there is ****, I've never had a problem ordering from them which I've done many times. They're total pros.

In my opinion one of the greatest labels going today (possibly the best). Even if you just order their releases and ignore the stuff they distro (which there is a superb assortment to select from), there's enough jaw droppingly awesome material to eat up your paycheck for months. Extremely reasonabe shipping rates to boot.

I looooove the Profound Lore label myself.. they've been signing some really good bands as of late, my personal faves being Portal, Impetuous Ritual and Krallice.

On the opposite side of the spectrum I'm running into numerous problems with "Adipocere Records" they are a french label.  Their website has a few things that are pretty hard to come by but after putting my order in its been over a month and I've recieved no word from them, I don't know what their problem is.

Profound Lore is awesome as of late!  They put out the new Hooded Menace and the new Yob.
