 OFFLINE | Facebook Forum Project
Welcome to Counseling Services Facebook Forum. The Forum is open to all students, staff and faculty.
One powerful natural healing mechanism for humans is to talk to others about disturbing events. Communities can bear together what might overwhelm the individual. Please join discussions here or find other opportunities to talk with others about your reactions to highly distressing events. If you find you are worried about your reactions, please come by Counseling Services (located in the Health Center) between 1-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for a screening appointment or call to consult with one of our counselors, 756-2511.
We also provide information on our Cal Poly Counseling Services website about common responses to difficult events, good coping, how to help a friend who might be very strongly affected, etc. Go to http://www.hcs.calpoly.edu/counseling/counseling.html
