Proposed Plan Approved


SESplan's new Proposed Strategic Development Plan was approved for Publication at the Joint Committee on 20 June.

Once the decision has been confirmed by all of the six SESplan Councils, we will then publish the Proposed Plan for public comment. This will start in September for a period of six weeks. However, in order to allow everyone to have a longer time to review the Proposed Plan, preview versions of it and the accompanying documents are now available to download below.

Please note that there may be some minor presentational changes between these versions and the publication versions in September. The Environmental Report and Habitats Regulations Appraisal will also be available in September.

The Proposed Strategic Development Plan has been prepared after consideration of the feedback from the Main Issues Report consultation last year and in partnership with the six SESplan councils.  It is expected that the Proposed Strategic Development Plan will replace the current Strategic Development Plan in 2018.
