i have them hooked up to specs, 4awg power and ground, 10awg speaker wires, 120amp inline fuse, etc...  but im having cutoffs, if i turn the amp to half gain or more, the sub cuts out on me.  its not going into protection, itll just cut out.  when i turn the gain back down, no problems, hits perfectly.  my box is built to RF specs, sealed box.   now, when i switch the ohms around to 8 ohm, it limits itself to a little less than half gain(as expected) without any cut outs.  it acts like the t1 15 has its own built in limit switch so when it gets more power than it can handle, the 15 turns itself off.  but, they are matching nominal wattage and at half power, it shouldnt cut out at all.   both are brand new, maybe 3 weeks old.  RF PRIME R1000.1d and 1 RF T1d415.  any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

are u sure ur amp is getting good power? have u checked ur voltage?

You might be clipping your amp. See if you can find a better ground. Sand down the part where your ground contacts the chassis of your car. See if that fixes your problem. Again make sure that your ground connection is really good.
