At Castlefield Clinic & Spa, we ensure that we look after you at every step of your journey with us, by ensuring we are there for you, and to answer any questions post treatments.
We have no doubt we have covered all this information with you, however, as an added aftercare step from us, we would like to just highlight a few questions we commonly receive from our guests following their treatments.

When can I go back to work?
Following your Chemical Peels, we do strongly recommend that you take a couple of days off from work, in order for any redness to come down. This will also ensure that your skin has all the chance to recover and not be exposed to any day to day light, or environmental damage

How soon will my results be visible and how long will they last?
Once your treatment has been complete, you can start to experience results to start showing after three weeks of your treatment. It is advised not to expect miracles right after your treatment as your skin would need to regenerate itself and redevelop and reproduce.
Furthermore, to get the best results, it is important to follow the time scale and the number of treatments recommended to you at your consultation so that you can walk away feeling confident, happy and glowing.

Will I have any redness?
Redness will be visible for a couple of days post treatment, so please do expect this. Our advice would be apply a SPF 50 following your treatment followed by the recommended skin care regime to give you the best possible results.

When can I go back to exercise and Daily Routine?
You are able to get back to daily routines and exercise within 48 to 72 hours of your treatment, with no restrictions. Should you wish to go running, or out walking, please do have a high SPF on the area to avoid sun burn and pigmentation damage.

Do I have to take any extra precautions?
The only precautions you are required to follow is to use a high SPF 50 at all times. This is vitally important in the first three weeks of your treatment.

How long after can I fly?
We would strongly recommend you finish your course of peels and then wait a minimum of three weeks following your last peel before you go away on holiday. If you are clearly flying short distance within the UK, you are able to fly within a couple of days of your treatment.
However, we advise you to contact us just to make sure prior.

When should I come back for another appointment?
You will have been guided through your frequency of treatments at your consultation, however, as a general rule, we advise you to come back 3 to 4 weeks after each treatment, not only to have another treatment, but also so that we can ensure the treatment is working for you and is making you happy.

What can I use to enhance my results?
There are a number of products which can be used to enhance your results on the market. However, with the knowledge of our surgeon, we have a skin care regime, which will not only enhance your result, but also possibly shave off one or two further peels

With NuCelle, your skin will feel refreshed, rejuvenated and will have a healthier glow with constant use morning and night. The NuCelle pack works as a home care skin peeling system, without the physical signs of peeling.
The pack will work from deep within to bring out all the impurities in the body and then start to work on refurnishing the skin.
