skip to 6:00 and WATCH THIS! even if you hate the guy, watch it. not for what he says, but for the quotes, audio, and video clips. listen to what these people say in their own words. it's just under 4 minutes, and even if you disagree with his viewpoint, you owe it to yourself to watch this. step outside of your comfort zone here, and then we can talk about all this.

then watch the first 6:00 of the next segment.

seriously, WATCH THIS!!! 10 minutes of your life!

I watch Beck most days and had this recorded on my DVR.   Guess that means I'm evil too.

the cows and ranchers thing, yeah, but mainly the attitudes of these leftist thinkers, which is where the far-left derives its ideology from. i mean i don't really know where to start.

I went to a leeeft wing college (like left of UW-Madison), so none of this surprises me. Also, the "aggression, self preservation, security, sex" paradigm is completely reasonable if people are just animals (i.e. there is nothing supernatural about people, a conclusion if one is a materialist/atheist/naturalist).

I do want to say I have caught Beck flat out lying, and I am turned off by his holier-than-thou attitude when talking about history (ref Woodrow Wilson). I also need to add that as a non-Mormon living in Utah I have caught him pushing the Mormon agenda/marketing (although I am not sure if I am conspiratorial about it).

yeah, beck totally gets on my nerves, and i don't watch him all that often honestly. which is why i say it's more important to listen to what these people say in their own words and what they believe, rather than just listening to his conjecture on it. but with that said, he has highlighted ALOT about the dark side of progressivism, which frankly just isn't talked about enough. and i'd be willing to wager that most of your everyday liberals have no idea about what drives progressive ideology.

I dont agree with everything Beck says.  But I dont agree with everything Hannity or O'Reilly says either.

I like how Beck is good about telling you things like ...who Cass Sunstein is.  And Van Jones.  And taking what they say and presenting it to us.

I worked for a fairly conservative University for years and I have to say that, even there, the liberal agenda was strong.  And the attitude was ...if you dont get it then you are just stupid.  And some of the professors would flat out tell you your parents were stupid.  and they'd insult your belief in God and stuff like that.

I hated it.  And now many of these people are in our govt and/or influencing our govt.  They are elitists.  THEY are the 'enlightened ones' and we're too dumb to understand.

Tim Geithner, Cass Sunstein, Nancy Pelosi, Jim Wallis, Harry Reid, Van Jones, Joe Biden, Eric Holder, Rahm Emanuel, Tom Daschel, and Robert Gibbs....these people drive me nuts!  So smug, so arrogant!

(Notice I didnt say Obama himself).

Rev Jim Wallis is a socialist (I think he's a dyed in the wool Communist actually).  He has called the U.S. "the great power, the great seducer, the great captor and destroyer of human life, the great master of humanity and history in its totalitarian claims and designs."

And if (we) you dont get that...you're an idiot.

ever hear of guilt by association? if you surround yourself with progressive, socialist elites, then that says something about yourself. and even some of the stuff he said before and during his presidential campaign incriminates him as well.

GB is full of ****.  I don't know what the hell he's talking about most of the time.  I don't know who any of those people are that he's quoting.  And, I suspect he taking some things out of context.  As far as us being a nation of "dodos", we are when compared with other countries' schooling.  We are so far behind other countries.  With technology changing, etc, if we don't keep up, we'll get left behind.  Anyway, the first video wouldn't play, and I wasted 13 minutes of my life watching the second one.  You can't say I don't try.  I consider myself fairly intelligent, but what he was saying sound like "psychobabel" and didn't make a lot of sense to me.  Having an education makes one elite?  He  makes it sound like that's bad.  How about learning all sides of an issue and making up your own mind.  Thats what I try to do.

I like Beck, though as with all agenda driven individuals, I translate as I go along.

What he talks about parallels the rise of Labour in Britain and, in particular, the Fabian mindset.  The objective of the left is to move westrern individualistic societies towards a socialist system but they klnow this won't be easy.  Solution = Gradualism.  Find a plausible pretext, use it, reform.

Beck talks of Nudge, nudge.  That's the left.

Methods include identifying an 'unacceptable' problem (say Child poverty or Health inequalities).  Solve.  Mode= the state

I guess I'm just not elite enough.  I'm a simple soul. When you translate it, I get it.  I think maybe Beck is very intellegent, but I really do wonder about his mental state.  For me, better to "keep it simple, stupid".

thank god you're not elite enough

i would venture that most "liberals" are good, heartfelt people. they simply want to help people within our society, and do what's right. unfortunately, i feel most of these people have been lied to by "the elites." the reason i feel this way, is because once you start getting into the progressive ideology, which is heavily influenced by socialist and communist doctrine, a very dark side presents itself. and these people who ascribe to such ideology are very influential, and do constitute the elite within the far-left.

this is the reason i feel glenn beck has done a service. he has brought to light many of the beliefs of said people, and will even tell you not to take his word for it, but to do the research yourself, which i have. but let me tell you, it isn't easy getting information on the web, and even harder to find the mainstream media picking up on it.

you have people like george soros, who has had extensive involvement with communist governments around the world, and who admittedly (almost boastfully) has helped facilitate the collapse of governments. he is known as the man who broke the bank of england. he has robbed billions from people around the world, and been involved in economic collapses in the uk, france, hungary, russia, thailand, and malaysia. he's been involved in regime collapses in africa, the czech republic, yugoslavia, georgia, the ukraine, and more.

but here's the kicker. he's donated large sums of money to harry reid, barbara boxer, barack obama, charlie rangel, and dozens of other democrats. he's also donated money to acorn, and he and his open society institute have funded air america, the aclu, moveon.org, media matters, and literally hundreds of leftist organizations. he's truly a real life bond bad guy, and he has his tentacles wrapped around the american left. he is a one-world government kind of guy, and he doesn't give two shits about how many people he hurts to achieve his goals.

then you have people like van jones, an admitted communist and black nationalist, who uses american liberal concepts of social justice and social engineering to appeal to the american left. and this guy was once in the white house! he wants to completely overthrow the american system, and i wonder what he wants to replace it with?

he's a proponent of a "top down, bottom up, inside out" strategy. he has actively encouraged people to force obama to do what he has to do, i.e. apply government pressure. what these people want to do is install the right revolutionaries in the government, then incite civil unrest, thus forcing the government to step in and clamp down, suspending certain rights and liberties, and to use this to "fundamentally transform" the country to an authoritarian state.

and i don't even have time to get into edward berneys, clowers and piven, and sol lewinsky.

bottom line, these people want to collapse the american system, and replace it with a totalitarian utopia. and these ideas have infested the american left in such a way, that most people and even most politicians, don't even know that their attempts to create a better world are being used to facilitate such a collapse. and it's not a conspiracy theory, because these people have said as much in their own words. it's very real, and very dangerous, and it's taking place right under the nose of a complacent populace who thinks such a thing could never happen in america, simply because we're america.

Yeah, you know in the 90s I viewed liberalism as the boogyman.  Now, however, I dont see it this way.  I've learned that, while I dont necessarily agree with most liberals on a viariety of topics, liberals are not the boogyman.  They can love freedom and democracy just like I do.

Progressives...are what scare me now.  Sounds like a fairly benign term.  But progressives are the love child of Marxism and Socialists.  Bill Clinton no longer scares me.  George Soros and Van Jones scare the hell outta me now.  They scare me like no regular liberal ever has.  Soros is a dangerous, evil man imo.

BillClinton was willing to work withing the system of our Republic to impliment the things he wanted.
George Soros wasnt to completely throw out the bill of rights, the Consititution and fundamentally change our society.  And Soros and the congresspeople who support him are dangerous.

Btw...if we're so stupid...if our education is so awful, how come we're a superpower and lead the world in science and technology?
