Hi Karina, my son and his best bud are in 2143 also, we have recieved a letter weekly and they seem to be doing well, can't wait to see some pix of the platoon, maybe when they return from Pendleton!!! Nice to see a 2143 fan, there doesn't seem to be many of us on here yet. Will u be in San Diego for graduation?

Hi Mark, I am Recruit Duran's sister. Karina is dating him and we are definitely going to be at the graduation. We are making arrangements to stay there for Thursday and Friday. How about you? Do you live in SoCal?

We've been getting letters from my brother constantly and he keeps asking for pictures. I've practically sent him an album already. From what I hear they should be shooting this whole week so hopefully they enjoy that.

I sent him some powerbars the first week since he asked for some....now he wants candy bars. He told me though that I had to send enough for 49 of them. Thankfully my sister works for Nestle and they graciously donated a whole bunch of powerbars and candy to them. We are checking to see if we can drive out there to deliver it because it is ALOT. It would cost a fortune to mail. Hoping we get clearance.

What is your son's name? I would love to mention you to my brother.

My nephew is in this fine platoon of young men and I "can't wait" for graduation day to see him!!!!! Also for those who don't know you can go to www.devildogsinfo.com and see the platoon picture!
