OFFLINE | I just received an email which reads:
"Josh requested to tag one of your photos. As the owner of the photo, you need to approve this request. To approve this request, follow the link below:"
When I lick the link, I'm brought to my Reqs page (http://www.facebook.com/reqs.php) but this page says nothing about the request.
Did clicking on the link approve the request without another, explicit confirm/ignore option? If so, which picture was the tag made to?
Thanks much in advance,
Jason

OFFLINE | When you click the link, you're taken to your request page. (Or at least you should have been). Obviously. It could very well of been accepted prior to clicking on the link. It shouldn't do that, but apparently it did.
Normally, I don't go through my email to accept anything via Facebook. Considering Facebook doesn't email me when I have an alert because I don't have email notification set(?)
When you receive any type of request, it should show up in your notification drop-down menu at the top left of your Facebook page. If you're not sure what picture of yours was tagged, you can try going through your photos and it'll tell you what tags there are, and what person tagged it / them.

OFFLINE | I have the same problem. I receive by email photo tag request for approval, but when I click on the link the request page on FB is blank. I checked out the pics and none is shown as tagged by the user that requested me.
Any tips to figure it out this boring stuff?
Thanks. |

OFFLINE | I've had trouble finding pics that people have requested a tag be added. They seem to be at the very bottom of the page where Friend requests and other stuff live. However, I can not guarantee they appear there every time I search for them, but I am willing to accept "operator error" for any thing Facebook. Were it not my nieces' favorite way to stay in touch with the family, I would be like my sister who said bye to Facebook last year. |
