Last week on Thursday (April 7) I received a phone call from a teacher/athletic director from Michigan who was learning/training in San Diego at Camp Pendelton. Her group was allowed to "interview" recruits from our platoon about their training experience.  She met my son  Andrew and when she asked him if she could do anything for him he asked her to call his mom!!  It was as good as if he had called himself.  Did anyone else get a call??  I guess Plt.1055 was the only platoon staying behind an extra week to "do work".  According to this teacher they were setting up graduation risers and obstacle courses for the Crucible.   She said the boys were eating well & that he looked happy & confident.  She said all the boys looked healthy.  She was very impressed.  My heart swelled with pride talking to her and I had to hold back my tears.  It was a truly blessed moment.  I really can't wait to see him at graduation.  So proud of him & all the boys!
