Why can't you move pets around after their "bonus" is gone?

I've always wished I could do that too! Dolphins swim in groups. I always wanted to put a few dolphins together in my shark tank. And why couldn't a sea turtle be in there as well? I guess it would take a bit of programming to accomplish but it would sure make for some awesome tanks!

That'd make your tank (with two pets in it) too "heavy". The game can slow down a lot.
Probably this will be available in future.

The 10 gazzilion decorations people put in already does that...I look forward to being able to move them as a sea turtle and jellyfish would fit a marine type tank very well.

I think it would be great if we could add more than one pet to a tank !  Once an ACTIVE BONUS pet is past its bonus age and no longer giving a bonus we should be allowed to move it to another tank like a regular fish or add a new pet to the tank with it.   It shouldn't slow anything down since it is still only allowing one Active pet per tank - its no different than any other fish once its no longer giving bonus.   I too would love to have my sea turtle share a tank with a jelly fish or my newt to share a tank with a river turtle  etc.
