At first glance the deal looks pretty average. A low-end pad on a tiny data plan is pretty fair at $10pm. Like other Dodo products have value in the advertising and not the product. As Dodo internet becomes more of a sucsess it proves the importance of advertising and marketing. Dodo don't own any ISP they just resell services of a real ISP and put a great spin on it.

The Pendo Pad also sports wifi but only 802.11b&g with apple and samsung both giving a,b,g & n.

You will likely use WIFI a lot as the DODO $10/pm plan only comes with 250/500mb data per month.

Some people might use 250mb a day just browsing eBay. If you like music, videos, movies and youtube then the $80/pm plan might be better for you. 250mb will let you regularly check your email but not much more and don't even think about downloading funny attachments that will blow your limit.

It's basic and cheap but not a kids toy as kids at the youngest age need more then 250mb per month.

Total cost over 24months would be $237.60 + Postage. Not bad for an entry level toy, i would even call this an average that if you have wifi at home and just need the bare basics in a pad then it's worth a 2nd look.
