As a child my wife wasn't allowed to have a dog.  As a young child she saw a Yorkie and fell in love with them.  Once she had her own house she set about looking for a dog.  One of her coworkers caught wind of her desire for a yorkie and hooked her up with another coworker who had 2 Yorkies she was looking for a home for.  Steph discussed things with the lady who had the Yorkies and then never heard from the lady again.  About 8 months later the lady recontacted her and brought the dogs to her house the next day.  Within minutes Freddie had jumped on every piece of furniture in the place and made himself at home.  A week later my wife and I started dating, in addition to falling in love with her I fell in love with her two Yorkies Freddie & Precious.

At the time Freddie was a rambunctious 5 year old Yorkie, he is now 15 and a bit more sedate than he was at 5, but still has moments he thinks he's a puppy.  If you ever see him at SCVIM he'll make sure to tell all the other dogs that he owns the lobby

Precious was pretty standoffish for the first 6 months we had her, but once she warmed up to us she never left our side.  Precious was the sweetest Yorkie we have ever had.  She was truly the Yorkie my wife always wanted.  She passed away suddenly at the age of 10 in 2007.  We miss her greatly.

I had no idea that Freddie and Precious were actually Stephanie's dogs first (before they were your babies too!  Beautiful pictures and beautiful story, thanks for sharing Chris!
