I took the recommended number of Calcium tablets after surgery in Tampa.  I didn't have any significant low Calcium symptoms.  At about 2 weeks post op, when I was down to 2 Calcium tablets a day, I noticed some tingling around my mouth and nose, so I stayed on 2 a day for a while.  Every now and then I still experience that tingling. I'm currently taking 1 Calcium plus D tablet a day, at 5 months post op.
