Our boys in Plt 2154 graduate in just 3 weeks!  (And they'll be Marines in TWO weeks!!  Yay!!)

The letters we've received show SUCH a transformation over the past 10 weeks.  In his first letters he talked about  the 3rd Phase recruits he'd see on base and felt envy, motivation, and admiration.  Now he's writing about those 1st Phase nasties, and can't believe he was ever one of them.  LOL

I know I'm not alone when I say I'm a mom just BURSTING with excitement to see the beautiful ceremony at graduation, and pride when I think of my soon-to-be Marine.  Proud to be his mom, but more importantly, I'm excited for the pride he'll feel in himself.

You are not alone! Several of us Golf Co moms have started a prayer chain for the crucible if you would like to join us.

Our recruit was able to call home for a few minutes last night.  He is impatiently awaiting for the Crucible to begin.  Was great to hear his voice (or what's left of it) again.  He is demanding Pizza as his first meal once he is dismissed after graduation. :-)

Hi Lena.  Yup, my Recruit is in 2154 as well.  Nice to see these boards open on FB as another means of communication, though the folks at RecruitParents.com have a great site as well, which is where I have spent my time in the evenings the last 2 months.  My prayers are with you and your Recruit, as well as all of his brother Recruits and their families as our young men prepare for the final test of Boot Camp.  Semper Fi!

I'm hesitant to use Recruit names here for fear of potentially violating any OPSEC policies.
