- Crews are continuing the search for Zuzu in Brewster and Presidio County, with some efforts now being concentrated in the area of Redford. Source: cbs7
- Zuzu’s boyfriend, Robert Fabian, was officially named as a suspect in the case; Robert's mother and sister are named as POI. Chris Estrada was named by LE as “a key witness” and also a POI. Source: Brewster County Sheriff Facebook
- According to police, Robert Fabian has been uncooperative with the investigation and has since retained a lawyer. Fabian's Lawyer released a statement saying Robert is “distraught over the disappearance of Zuzu”, he is cooperating and that they are conducting their own investigation.
- A neighbor of Fabian's at his apartment complex said he had been asked not to discuss what he knew in detail. He did say he heard the couple arguing the night Zuzu disappeared. Source: khou news
- The Texas Attorney General's Office has now officially become involved with the case. Alpine Police Chief Russell Scown says that now that the Attorney General is involved they will be able to put together a grand jury and compel witnesses, including Robert Fabian, Zuzu's boyfriend and now suspect in the case, to answer investigators' questions.
- 83rd District Attorney Rod Ponton made a motion to recuse his office and appoint Adrienne McFarland and Geoff Barr of the Texas Attorney General's Office to provide continuity of the investigation. Ponton is set to leave office in 2017. The motion to recuse Ponton was granted. Source: cbs7
- A prayer vigil organized. The Rotaract Club, Open Care Club, & Student Support Services at Sul Ross State University will be holding prayer outside the University Center.
