HOW TO:
Find Basketball Courts
1. GO TO COURTS
Make sure the 'Court' Icon is highlighted in the bottom navigation bar.
The game will automatically place you in camera ‘Street View.’ This is how to find a court nearby, and allows you and shoot baskets at it.
You can enter this mode by either holding the phone up vertically or clicking on the EYE button (while in Map view).
2. SCAN
Using your device camera, scan for courts in your area by looking around you in all directions. Courts will appear as floating backboards. The King, distance and point value will display for the targeted Court in the info bar at the bottom of the screen.
3. SELECT A COURT
Tap a Court once to lock it in, then press 'Shoot' to start a shooting round.
Tap a Court twice for more information on that Court including its possible King, High Scores and basket point value.
Many potential courts could appear. Some might be too far away, so move closer or use the 'Power Shot' power-up to shoot at them.
HOW TO: Map View
This is the view of all of the courts in your area as seen on a map. To view the Map, make sure the 'Court' Icon is highlighted in the bottom navigation bar and press the “Globe” button or simply hold your device down horizontally (Auto Map Switching can be disabled in Options).
You can center the map to your location by pressing the “Radar” button in the lower right of the screen.
Clicking on a Court’s box will give you its key stats including:
-The “King,” High Score, and your score
-Defenses and customization equipped by the King
-Point value for each basket made at that Court (1, 2 or 3 Points)
HOW TO: Point Values
On the Map, the three colored circles show the point value for baskets made at each court.
Shots at Free Throw (1-Pt) Courts are easier, but reward only 1 point per basket. 3-Pointers rack up your score, but are harder and take longer to shoot.
Outside the 3-pt circle are Courts that are too far away to shoot at. If you see one that you would like to shoot at, you will need to move closer or equip a Power-Up like “Power Shot” to reach it.
Make sure to plan the right strategy based on your location and how many balls you have. Don't be afraid to move around to find your sweet spot!
HOW TO: Special Courts
Some Courts have bonuses that make them more valuable for the King.
HOT Courts are the most competitive in your area and are earning high Royalties for the King of that Court. Take it over and they’re yours!
STAR courts have a built in Royalty bonus. Keep an eye out for these rare and valuable Courts to earn extra Coin!
HOW TO:
Shooting
SHOT CLOCK
You have 24 seconds on the clock (with 1 Time-out) to score as many points as you can, with your available balls.
Balls will replenish over time and you can use them all at one court, or across multiple courts to expand your reach. More balls can be purchased in the Power-Up Menu under Game Changers.
THE SHOT METER
Press the “Ball” button when the power needle is in the yellow Sweet Spot of the Shot Meter. Hit a green for a perfect Swish and extra points!
REBOUND
If you're lucky you might catch a Rebound which gives you an extra ball. Use it wisely!
POWER-UPS
These are your most powerful tools for racking up major points.
Power-Ups can slow down the Shot Meter, earn you more Balls and even reward bonus points for each made basket.
Make sure to equip them in the Power-Up menu and they'll stay active for each round (as long as you have enough Coin). Your active Power-Ups are shown at the bottom of the screen during each Shooting Round.
Try different Power-Ups for each round and distance to find your favorite and really boost your score!
HOW TO:
Coins
Coin is your in-game currency and allows you to buy more abilities on both offense and defense, or customize your courts. You can obtain Coin in multiple ways:
EARN COIN
Play the Shooting game to get Coin for each made basket. Easy, right?
ROYALTY
Take over as many Courts as you can and “Upgrade” them to start rolling in Coin. The more that other players shoot at them, the larger your Royalty grows. Make sure to “Collect” it frequently!
ADD COIN
Coin can be purchased at any time by pressing “More Coin” at the top of the Profile, Power-Up, VS., and Options Screens.
DAILY STREAK
Keep playing daily to earn a free Coin bonus each day!
HOW TO:
Power-Ups & Skins
OFFENSIVE
Offensive Power-Ups are used in the Shooting round to enhance or multiply your shots for maximum points.
Try them all to find your favorite and use them to rack up massive scores. Some Offensive Power-Ups are better suited for different Court distances, so plan your strategy before each Shooting Round.
Offensive Power-Ups will stay equipped until you un-equip them or run out of Coin. The cost of each Offensive Power-Up is applied per shooting round.
GAME CHANGERS
Game Changer Power-Ups impact your game by increasing your shooting range, ball count and regeneration rate.
You can also buy more balls instantly to keep playing right away, while waiting for them to generate.
DEFENSIVE
Defensive Power-Ups help you fend off challengers by fortifying your courts, making it harder for your opponents to score.
You can automatically “Subscribe” to each Defensive Power-Up at your Court by checking the box next to it and pressing “Confirm”.
The cost of each Defensive Power-Up is PER COURT, EVERY 24-HOURS and they will stay active as long as you have enough Coin.
SKINS
Skins allow you to show your team pride by skinning your court with your favorite NBA team’s logo.
The cost of each Skin is ONCE PER COURT, and they will stay assigned as long as you are the King of that Court. Defend your turf or it will cost you!
HOW TO:
Royalties
As other players shoot on your Courts, they earn you Coin as the King. Customize and Upgrade your Court to reap the benefits. It’s good to be the King!
COLLECT
Press COLLECT to claim your Royalty.
Collect as often as you can. Once the base royalty (before bonuses) hits 100 Coin it stops earning.
Also, make sure your Courts are well defended. If you lose the Court to another Player, you also lose your Royalty.
UPGRADE
Upgrades level up the Courts in your Kingdom and multiply your Royalties. Keep leveling up to deck out your Court and earn maximum Coin!
LOCATION BONUS
Try to COLLECT when you are near one of your Courts for an extra Location bonus.
STAR COURTS
Star Courts have a built in Royalty bonus. Keep an eye out for these rare and valuable Courts to earn extra Coin!
