I knew I did not like Wesley Clark for some reason, but now that I see he is connected to Soros, I am scared for our military, even though he is retired.

I would be scared to join the military now if the likes of Wesley Clark are in charge.

Rex, I recall at the end of PATTON, Omar Bradley telling Patton that the modern general would have to be more than just a general,  he would also have to be politically aware, or something to that effect. That trend continued until today the general is nothing but a politician in uniform. They are more political than military, and that is gut wrenching as these are the people who hold the powers of life and death in their hands. No soldier should have to think that his life's blood would have to be shed in the name of political expediency and that is the point that we have reached. Wesley Clark is but a symptom of a disease that runs far deeper into our culture.
I find it so easy to find parallels between us and Rome in its final days. Their people lost their love of country and we are echoing the sentiment. As General Sherman so eloquently put it  Vox Populi, Vox Humbug.
