hello all, i have a quick question about eggs. I have looked around on some forums and seen people say different stuff. I was wondering if when you feed the 3 sets of data to hatch an egg if that automatically make your egg a 3/5 or if you have to work up to it after the first set of 3.

any advice would be welcome and thank you in advance.

Three SUCCESSFUL data insertions and you can hatch if you please. That's why its called a 3/5. 5 data insertions are possible. Now you can go through a hundred failed insertions without ever reaching 3/5

When players talk about a 3/5, 4/5, 5/5 digimon, they are talking about they're already hatched digimon and their relative strength. When they talk about eggs, they're talking about a [tradeable] reinforced egg. These are more important and more expensive because they are guaranteed not to break up until the specified number (you can go further but take a risk)
