Need a return to "page view button/link" so you can get back to the page with the forum on it and use page nav and other features of the page.

This is the starting look for the page, then after you open the forum to post or read it looks like this

and there is no way to get back to the original view that allows page navigation and other activites

Good idea. But unfortunately there is only one way to do that at the moment.
Putting a banner on the top of a forum.
