OFFLINE | My male bluetick can be a real bugger. He will pick a fight with the other dogs if he thinks they are in his space. Has anyone had a dog like this and how did you handle it? |

OFFLINE | As I've said in the past control is the key to changing his ways. When Rusty first came he was a handful to say the least. He now is way better at taking commands and being respectful. |

OFFLINE | My twelve year old beagle has never liked other dogs. I enrolled him in obedience classes and had him neutered but nothing helped. Two years ago I got a beagle /basset and he gets along with her. It tends to be when he is being walked and we meet another dog....he barks so loud. I just cross the street to avoid contact with other dogs. |

OFFLINE | Sounds to me like your beagle feels it's his job to control the walk.He feels your not in charge so he's taking over.Less talk more walk.Lead and go forward with him.Don't slow just go.You have to take control. |
