1.  What are the details of written test and interview for M. Tech admissions in the energy science and engineering department?
A: All candidates who have received the call letter must appear for the written test on May 12th 2017. The details of the written test are:
Location            :           Room No. LH­ 101 & LH ­102, New Lecture Hall Complex.
Reporting time :           8:30 AM
Exam time         :           10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
List of shortlisted candidates after the written test will have to appear for the interview on May 13th 2017.

2.   What is the syllabus for the written test in Energy science and engineering?
A: The syllabus for the written test will include physics, chemistry, mathematics and general engineering subjects. Candidates will be tested for comprehension of fundamentals. A sample question paper can be downloaded from the link here. Sample question paper

3. I have some other commitment on the date of written test (May 12th 2017), is it possible to reschedule them to some other date?
A: No, there is no way the written test can be rescheduled for any reason. They will be conducted only on the announced dates.

4.  I will be able to attend the written test, but will not be able to stay the next day for the interview, since I have university end semester exams. Would it be possible to reschedule my interview?
A: If you have successfully cleared the written test and have been shortlisted for interview, the admission committee may consider your request and hold your interview on the same day (May 12th 2017) if the candidate provides the necessary proof.

5. My GATE Score card has not reached at my home address? What shall I submit?
A: Applicant can submit the VALID GATE Score card printed from the internet during the written test. However, during admission, applicant has to submit the original one.

6. For identification, what documents are required?
A:  1. A valid GATE SCORE CARD
2. Identity card showing the candidate’s name, date of birth, and a photo.

7.  What are the items that can be kept in the examination hall?
A: Mobile phones ARE NOT allowed in the exam hall. However, calculators WILL BE allowed. If you have a mobile phone with you, we request you to keep it in your bag and leave your bag outside the exam hall.
