OFFLINE | So I spent a couple hours today watching MSNBC waiting for my Jeep to be fixed. I wish I could have those couple of hours back. Too much anger and fear, almost as bad as FOX. Those who compare NPR to them must be out of their cranium! |

OFFLINE | I really don't see too much anger and fear on many of the networks. Just when you watch specific pundits. FOX, CNN, MSNBC etc. can all be pretty decent only when they're not showing **** commentators. The only one I've grown to like is BillO. Since he is a hardass and having been in the military I can appreciate a good hardass.
I notice left wingers specifically hate FOX a lot. But they won't admit the simple truth. The reason they hate FOX is simply because FOX leans to the right and they're liberals. It's that simple, they should just admit it. They always make up a bunch of other excuses. You can watch Sean Hannity's bs attitude and then I can turn on Rick Sanchez on CNN and see the exact same kind of attitude, just from the other side of the spectrum. |

OFFLINE | Bryant, we have said it again and again, but anyway......most of us, including me, choose to dislike NPR because of its connections with Soros.
And aside from the asshat Hannity, what other Fox personality is as bad what is found on MSNBC??? No, MSNBC isn't almost as bad as Fox, it is about 20 times worse. |

OFFLINE | Bill O, Gretchen, the King of Apocalypse Glenn Beck (he's still there, just not on TV), Sarah Palin (she works there), etc.
BTW, NPR also takes money from Murdoch (they run advertisements for some Newscorp companies like Fox Searchlight). |

OFFLINE | I don't like Beck. Gretta is ok, and I don't know why people hate Gretchen so much. People actually have to watch BillO and see for themselves that he ain't so bad. I don't agree with him 100%, but more so than other commentators. |

The problem with Gretchen is her mouth is fast but her mind is slow. Who's Gretta?
I've watched Bill O plenty of times (when I was in HS my Dad liked to watch the Factor, so that was often on). I don't think he's much smarter than Gretchen ('the sun comes up, the sun goes down; the tide comes in, the tide goes out, and never a miscommunication', apparently he's never heard of -9.8ms^-2!) and the editing of his interviews are highly unethical (I once saw both the FOX News broadcast version and the full version of one of O'Reilly's interviews with Jon Stewart, and they were very different. I understand they have to edit content down due to time constraints, but they spliced clips of Bill O asking one question with clips of Jon Stewart answering a completely different question to make Stewart look like an idiot. I can only imagine how many other people he has done that to!). That and that he's an ass who thinks that he who yells the loudest (as opposed to he who has the most logically defensible argument) wins. |

Money for advertisements is one thing. Money to push an agenda is another.

Well like I said before he is a hardass. One of the most annoying things I see in people while having a debate is people who beat around the bush, exaggerate, stretch the truth, or twist people's words around and try to put words in other people's mouths. Also changing contexts on phrases to make the other person look like an idiot. This happens almost every time I have a debate on youtube or imdb forums. It pisses me off to the point where I just want to yell at them and say "STOP THE CRAP." "STOP THE BS HERE." Just like BillO. Of course I won't be all arrogant and say Bill NEVER does things like that himself, cuz those are common techniques among skilled debaters.
Like i said he ain't perfect himself, but no matter what kind of attitude FOX has I guarantee I can turn on Rick Sanchez on CNN and see the exact same attitude just from the other side.
Gretta does the evening show at 10pm. On the Record.
The thing that kills me about Jon Stewart are his fans, but not himself. I kinda like Jon Stewart and I notice many conservatives don't like him cuz they think he's a liberal. He makes whatever joke he wants, and that's fine with me, but I hate how his fans take him so seriously and act like he makes good points like an actual commentator. The only good point Jon ever makes is how the media tries to scare people and he makes fun of their reports to lighten the mood and let people know the world ain't coming to an end as many in the media want you to believe just to increase their ratings. |
