OFFLINE | Would it be possible to create some way to move the chat box from its fixed area. It really gets annoying when trying to play a game and a chat pops up. Also why does it say there are friend available to chat, yet they are really idle? |

OFFLINE | Facebook chat is a terrible feature as far as optimization goes. It doesn't offer a Pop-Out IM feature to break it from the bottom of the screen. Chat is not updated in real time, either. It'll say your friend is online, but it's really idle and will only update after you spend the time to actually send a message.
Just now, I was talking to my younger brother, and it had said he went offline twice within one second. After which, he sent me a message. He was never actually offline.
I think what it does, is when the person you're talking to clicks on any link related to Facebook, it marks them as idle or offline during the duration at which it takes to load whatever they've recently done. |
