Hello Everone,

First off l must say that adding a Forum to Facebook for your website is a perfect idea.

Now for the topic at hand....   Has anyone ever edited from a laptop? I continue to find it frustrating everytime I export an image that I think has the right colors and sharpness, only to find out that its dull and a little dark when viewed from other sources. I have heard that anyone serious about photography should calibrate their monitor. I tried through the Windows tools, however; with little to no results. I also know that there is paid software out there that comes with a tool to place over top of your monitor. If you have had any experience with this your knowledge would be greatly apreciated.

I used Calibrize last year and it helped a lot. I ran the color profile to my Canon Pixma iP6600 printer and the color / tonal match is pretty close to what I see on the monitor. I'd say it's not as good as buying a Spyder but it's free and will get you 90% there.

Dude, I feel stupid now. I wasnt sure how to get back to the forum until I visited one of the photos in your gallery. It basically was a screenshot of the forum button under your cover photo.

Thanks for the response I am going to check that out right now.
