OFFLINE | I think something that can really ruin the forum are mods that are inexperienced with high traffic forums. There are a lot of people who post things that may seem off topic, inside jokes, or may seem repetitive, and an inexperienced mod may ban them or delete threads. Also, I think there are certain forums that need mods experienced in the forum subject. Some things are more acceptable in different circles. The Metal forum would not survive if it was held to the same standards as a Christianity forum. I hope this jumble of words makes sense... |

OFFLINE | Jimmy and Chris would make great forum mods and should one of them decline for whatever reason then I'd like to nominate myself as a mod for the heavy metal forum.
Thank you for your consideration. |

In terms of experience, I'm the one. I don't see where certain forum sections would require a person with knowledge pertaining to that specific section. Music, for example. All you would need is a somewhat-decent opinion on music. Given, if someone was a moderator for a technical section, it'd be understood that they'd need to at least know something about the topics in that specific section.
This forum is only an application, and does not have the world's most strict set of guidelines. Also, in regards to banning someone and removing posts - This can only happen by the category. I've only got moderator privileges in the Facebook General section of the forums. Therefore I would not be able to remove posts in any category or subcategory aside from my own. Unless, of course, I asked for alternative privileges in other categories.
