Though I, myself managed to complete it I too wasn't all that impressed with XIII. Aside from some decent boss battles, the whole game was far too linear, that is if you compare it previous installments like VII and even X where they incorporated a plethora of side games within the framework of the story itself. On the other hand, here was not the case and therefore it was far too repetitive and I think I know why too. Being that it was no longer an exclusive for Sony, they most likely had to 'dumb' things down so that it could play well without any risk of bugs for the 360. I mean, it says something when the entire game fits on one disc for the PS3 and yet for the 360 they had to spread it out on like 2 or 3 discs. I think it's safe to say that it was a really bad move on Squaresoft's part to port it over to the 360.

I never got into the FF's, with the exception of 10. Apparently a lot of the fanboys hated that one, but I loved it.

It is short. But it is amazing. I played through it twice and managed to get every achievement in it. I enjoyed it a lot, very good game.

Only RTS I've really played lately has been Starcraft 2, and even then I haven't been playing it all that much. Mainly because I find 1v1 boring and most of my friends either don't wanna play.

Get Rome or Medieval II Total War. Dawn of War is pretty fun too.

Holy ****, new Castlevania game is ruling my soul at the moment! I'm about almost halfway through it and I don't even want to beat it yet because I am trying to savor every moment of it while I can. Granted the developers borrowed a lot of elements from God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, and Legend of Zelda but that's not a bad thing at all. Some of the boss fights are real nail biters too! Overall, I have to say that for a contemporary interpretation of an old franchise I haven't fully immersed myself into a game like this since my NES/SNES days.

It's not like the old ones, but it's turned out to be fantastic none the less.

Beat Fallout NV last night, but I'm starting **** mode today. This game is amazing. Especially since I was just expecting a simple Fallout 3 expansion.

Yeah, especially since he will have to rip out the console when it gives him the RROD. Assuming that it's a working one and all. For real though, that's not even attractive.
