OK.  Check this out ...

This is a right vs. left brain test.  Do you see the woman spinning clockwise or counter-clockwise?

Now, no matter which way she's spinning for you, shift your view and view her out of your peripheral vision, either to the left or right.  And voila ... she'll appear to spin in the opposite direction.

LEFT BRAIN (Counter-clockwise)
uses logic
detail oriented
facts rule
words and language
present and past
math and science
can comprehend
knowing
acknowledges
order/pattern perception
knows object name
reality based
forms strategies
practical
safe

RIGHT BRAIN (Clockwise)
uses feeling
"big picture" oriented
imagination rules
symbols and images
present and future
philosophy & religion
can "get it" (i.e. meaning)
believes
appreciates
spatial perception
knows object function
fantasy based
presents possibilities
impetuous
risk taking

She spins clockwise to me.

How about you?

And just in case you don't believe she can switch directions, here's the same thing done a little differently.

Completely clockwise. When I try to see it the other way, my brain crashes. I spent the last 20 minutes rebooting. My brain must have been coded by Microsoft because all I'm seeing now is the blue screen of death

I think I need an upgrade!

I woke up this morning and she's spinning counter-clockwise today.

Argh!

Is it because it's Monday?

Same here, totally clockwise. Even after I saw the second one showing how you can see it going both directions I went back up and she's spinning her fool head of....clockwise.

I knew I was strange. Looking straight on I can get her to change direction just by concentration. But of course with those color blind tests I can tell both the number/letter for normal and color blind and tell you which is for which.

Great. I'd like to see her male counterpart instead. I'd stare at it longer.
