OFFLINE | Taj vai.... as you said by analysis that we may experience a upper trend after the index gets down to 5500 or somewhat below than this. But in consideration of which factors it will go up. If further support dont come from government will the index still go up? and some one said in your forum if the index breaks down below 5200 that will be a massive disaster.... What is the probability of this situation in considering present situation... can you kindly justify all these reasons.. Really we are greatly anxious........... |

TA data shows there is a strong support line at 5300, the lower bollinger band is at 5200. From the last fall started from 22 Feb, 2011 we are observing that price and index is fluctuating and closes with less gap. This assumes that smart money are taking place slowly, trying to shake out the weak holders. Todays volume shows investors are not willing to sell off their stakes. But they could not hold it for long, at one stage they gave up.This makes the possibility to bounce in between 5000-5500 level. The 2nd logic is Elliott Wave which gives almost 80% accurate assumption. Still there is some uncertainty. At which point Govt should intervene? Is it at LOTUS point? I do not think. Govt has to intervene if index goes below 5000. Govt intervention is not a permanent solution. As long as there will be demand and supply imbalance, the index will go down. Considering the present scenario, I assume market will touch 4500 in near term after 2/3 corrective wave. 5400 line is crutial for us. If the index goes 40% down from its top, we call it as a secular bear market. And in that case market will be bearish for long time.
I am assuming the market will bounce from 5000-5500 level. But it will totally depend on the market situation and the behavior of the investors. If the investors go for capitualization, market will be rolling stone and will fall beyond our imagination. |

OFFLINE | So , Mr taj have the market is not implying that we will have a long term bearishness behavior of it as it already went below 5340 (last week)....?? or we will assume it after having the next fall below that line? One thing more in a long term bearish market would we sustain with our further investment (at 7500 index level)....?? As i entered DSE in 2009... I hardly know or have experience about Bearish market.... Can you please explain a little bit......... |

The present scenario is indicating the market is going to chage it status- A SECULAR BEAR MARKET from A CYCLICAL BEAR MARKET.
The investment strategy is quite different than investment in Bull market. You may go through my articles about investment strategy in Bear Market. |
