How do you make a difference in the world?

I hate to go first, and so far all I have is,,, I tell bigfoot stores :/

Ok, seriously, I make a difference in the world by helping people understand better relationship values. (Stats show I suck at this by the way)

How do you make a difference in the world?

I spent a lot of money- thereby helping the struggling economy!

(does it count if it's just bills?)

Curious, if a stripper issues a receipt, doesn't that count as paying the bill? And the stripper then uses that money to pay for   which seems to stimulate a certain part of the economy, as well as maybe stimulating certain consumers

I tend to be the Work Mom.  I hear everybody's woes.  I am often asked for advise from several co workers, and friends.  Guess thats the reason I decided to get a degree in Human Services.

I try to help people, especially in these tight economic times and those who are really tight financially, how to be self-sufficient. Through gardening, canning/preserving, saving on their utility bills, and being prepared for any type of emergency like floods, blizzards, wildfires, power outages or what ever might come to mind.

When an emergency happens don't try to be a survivalist but be a surviver.

I found someone's mail that they had dropped and made sure it got to them.

I try to live right ... and lead by example.  Not going to list out my philanthropic acts here but when I see a need ...   and I can find a way   (I'm really good at finding a way) ... I do it.

Guilting out some of my wealthier friends gives me a certain freakish buzz ... lol !

I love this, Mary ... my sister lost her job at a Fortune 50 company ... she viewed it as the gift of an early retirement ... and went to work at her kid's school as the lunch lady (as she calls it) ... most rewarding job she's ever had !   A group of lil 4th grade girls call her "doll face" ... lol ... she loves going to work everyday.

How do you feel about the idea of it taking a village to raise a child?
