I am 5 years post surgery.  My surgery was successful and health improved daily.  I know find myself with a diagnosis of severe osteoporosis.  Somewhat surprised, but guess I shouldn't be after years of high calcium levels. I have tried several of the meds for osteo and had horrible side effects.  So I continue to take my calcium daily and VitD. Will it be enough??
If anyone with osteo cares to post how they are doing and what they are doing to manage this disease I would appreciate it very much.  In advance, thank you.  Best regards, Margie
