Types of events:

• We are a Commonwealth School following the principles of Leadership Education.  We offer LEMI classes for Scholars (ages 12 and up) as well as classes for all other ages.  Our Junior classes (ages 0-11) are currently taught by Moms on a rotating 6 week schedule.  The topics for those classes follow the interests and passions of both the kids and the moms.
• Our focus is not academic instruction as we feel that is best done at home on an individual basis.  Our approach is to expose and inspire the kids to love learning.  Our Scholar classes are the only ones that require work outside of class, though some of our other groups are given the opportunity.
• We organize a few holiday gatherings, field trips and service projects throughout the year.  We also offer monthly meetings for Moms (some dads come too!) where we learn and discuss new concepts and principles of leadership education.  It's a great time to support one another in our homeschooling endeavor.  During the summer we plan weekly park days.
