OFFLINE | Because I believe their new album will completely make up for it. |

OFFLINE | I'll be honest, I actually enjoyed Witchcult Today. Granted it was NO Dopethrone or Come My Fanatics but some of the songs were quite catchy. Though sorely missing was the thick, fat slabs of distortion and feedback they are known for. Having said that, I still have hope for this band. |

OFFLINE | Dude, I loved "Witchcult Today." I meant that their split with Reverend Bizarre and "The Processean" sukked.
Their new album is going to have a cover of "Venus in Furs" by the Velvet Underground, which gives me the impression that it will kick ass. |

lol.. that seems to be a staple among metal bands these days for that's not the only time I've come across band covering that song, actually. The black metal band Krieg covered that as well on their CD The Black House some years back. I guess that particular song somehow strikes a chord in the downtrodden and alienated, lol.. must be their anthem I guess. |

And people were paying hundreds of dollars for those records on Ebay.

OFFLINE | Both of those songs were still wayyy under par for the Electric Wizard, no matter how much was paid for them. |

OFFLINE | Some dude on the forum said he met Jus and that the album is supposedly going to sound somewhat like Witchcult Today? |

OFFLINE | I know it will be similar, but I expect them to make stylistic progression. Nearly every Wizard album is a step in a different direction. |

OFFLINE | I just hope it is good, no matter what style they go for on the record. |
