for me, a-team. it was alright, but they spent too much time setting it up, and the whole not killing anyone thing just doesn't work in this day and age. just makes them look like bad shots.

Waiting for Superman -- very good film....brings up good questions!

The King's Speech -- absolutely wonderful film.....should win a couple awards (and hopefully more than that) -- especially for Colin Firth.

I saw Super 8 last friday. It was quite good, if not a bit too much like E.T.

I saw Hoffa (an older Jack Nicholson film) about a week ago.  Terrific!
Saw Jonah Hex too.  It was good also.

Jonah Hex was good? You mean the one with John Malkovich as the bad guy and Megan Fox as the obligatory piece of crumpet?  Sort of reminded me of "Wild Wild West", (which isn't good). never read the comics but wouldn't make me run out to get them....

Went to see "Kung Fu Panda 2"over the weekend, was good in 3D but not quite as good as the first film.

I don't go to the theater often, but I went to go see the True Grit remake. Now that was a damn good movie. Just as good, if a bit different in its presentation, as the original.

Last movie I saw however was a crappy one. I watched Drive Angry. I am so embarrassed.

Shawshank Redemption was on AMC last night. I swear between that movie and Goodfellas I never get tired of them. Greatest movies ever.

Saw 'The Runaways' the other night on directv.  Pretty good flick since I'm a Joan Jett Fan anyway.

I watched 'Valkyrie' last night with Tom Cruise.  Outstanding film!
Watched 'Inglorious Basterds' (yeah, its spelled that way) the other night.  Fair movie.  Had its moments.  I'd rent it but wouldnt buy it.

I just finished Inherit the Wind.  It was a great piece of film built around The State of Tennessee v. Scopes.  The names of places and individuals are different, but its clearly the same general story.  The cinematography and acting are both first rate, and the ideas and arguments put forth are surprisingly honest considering the film was released in 1960.  If you enjoyed 12 Angry Men, black and white cinema, and plots loosely based on landmark court cases then this is the movie for you.
