 OFFLINE | Hi, all.
I have wrote an article in my technical blog that hopefully useful for you, esp. for those who are using CakePHP (it might be Mr. Mohd. Isa/Oosha or another). You may check this link out: Enabling CakePHP Pretty URLs on IIS.
If you are CakePHP user I hope that you'll also share your experience too (e.g. SQL Azure DB connection problems during the development, etc). I'll also write it on next post.
Cheers & keep in touch, guys!
PS: This thread is open for all former MTC participants to share their knowledge and experience. |

OFFLINE | cool, thanks for sharing. these are good tips for just about any web developer. pretty urls are not just for aesthetic reasons but it's for search engine optimization or what people just refer to as SEO-friendly URLs. your url pattern becomes more structured as it follows the MVC pattern, making testing of your web pages a lot easier because it can be done at a more granular level.
good job! will be following your blog! |
