I was wondering,

Is the English version going to take their own course for this game, as far as what digimons to add etc, or will they just follow what Korean version releases and just translate that?

I personally don't mind either or, but I would love to see the English version to take their own course.

Opinions?

the digimon they add, the maps, etc. will be the same as korea but it won't be in the same order as it happened in the korean version probably. the events will also most likely end up being the same as the korean ones. this is just my experience from playing games that come from korea to NA.

Argh?
So in a way we can't really suggest any new suggestions to the game because they can't/wont really do it unless the Korean version does it. Which brings up a question if the NA coders have some sort of communication with Korean designers to communicate our suggestions.

Again, ARGH!

if people suggest something enough, they might end up bringing it into the NA version even if the korean verison doesn't have it. i've seen it happen, so it's possible.

It will, however when it comes to some major changes like adding a particular feature (something major) like an Auction House or PVP system for example, KDMO will be the first one to experience it. I'm just simply saying Joymax is getting all of the patches and updates from the DMO Developers which is the Koreans, so if its not in KDMO yet it won't be in GDMO.

Joymax there's no competence to do things like that they just copy...

The x-factor is in balance of the cash shop and the management of events (xp,hatch, drop).

Technically, the developer who's currently running KDMO is the same with GDMO, only that it is being published by Joymax globally. That being said, there would be a high possibility that the English Digimon Masters will take its own course because it has a different target market (global), which means the English version would have to cater to that market. But then again, both companies answer to Bandai as they hold the franchise, so Bandai might have the final say.

Well I need to head on over to the Bandai website and have a little discussion about the butchering of DemiDevimon. It would be great if GDMO grew to be drastically different to KDMO. In fact, it would be endlessly awesome if it did.
