OFFLINE | Is it really true that kissing is similar to learning to ride a bike; meaning once you've learned - you never forget how? |

OFFLINE | I'm sooooooooooooo out of practice. So, like with riding a bike, does kissing somehow come with training wheels?
...I can see it now, my next kiss is gunna be a complete train wreck |

As long as I'm employed, I'll never forget how to kiss.
Coordinates are another topic.

OFFLINE | LOL ... good one, Scott !
I agree with the lovelies Wendy and Jann. Each person is different.
For me the challenge comes with wondering who will take the lead, who's gonna go in for the face suck first ? I tend to be sort of spontaneous with my smooches ... so, they could come at any time ... ya never know. Takes awhile to learn a person's likes / dislikes but DANG it's fun getting there.

OFFLINE | Not sure what happened to my other post??
Kissing isn't just different for each new person, but it can also be different with each time. I think of kissing as a form of communication, so it can change with mood, purpose, familiarity, etc.
If you go in for the first kiss trying to remember how, then it can end up as a performance thing instead of a getting-to-know-each-other thing. If two people just start kissing on each other without taking time to respond to the other, then that isn't my idea of loving communiation....but it could be fun under the right circumstances...lol. IMO, the skill is more in the awareness of emotion than in the technique.
As far as remembering how to ride a bike, I'm still working on that! |
