This gentleman is reproducing movements from a book on Shaolin staff that he claims was cited by Mooyaedobotongji. Kinda neat.
Edit: Just to be clear, when I say "claims" I'm not trying to imply any lack of belief. I just can't read Chinese and therefore have to take him at his word.

Aside from some of the stylistic difference (very few)
the footwork and use of the staff is nearly identical to Jogo Do Pau.
Its shows that the world was a smaller place and that not only was food or spices traded but Martial knowledge as well
Fascinating
I bought some of his translations. Interesting stuff. Very happy he supports most of his written material with video interpretations as well.

Where did that reply go?
Try again.
Yes the MYDTJ does reference shaolin staff from the Shaolin Gunfa Chanzong and the Jixiaoxhinshu among others.
Jack Chen is doing a great job with his ancient chinese martial art material.
The staff work he presents is considerably different to that which the Korean groups studying the MYDTJ do.
