Hi mummies,

I am doing insurance and I have claim before for pregnancy complications, which is why I am sharing this. I am really not here to sell insurance and you can feel free to buy from anybody from Great Eastern Life.

I had claimed $10,000 for emergency cesarean and the entire hospital stay when I deliver my son. I was 3 days past the due date and my son refuse to come out despite inducing 2 times! On the 5th day after due date I went for cesarean to force him out.. haha.. and claim from Great Eastern Life..

If you ask me which other company I can claim from (AIA, Prudential, Aviva, NTUC Income), from my knowledge, no company will pay for this cos they only cover 4 types of complications. Btw, I claimed from the hospital plans SupremeHealth (shield plan) and Totalshield. But the pregnancy coverage only takes place 10 months after inforce date. Which means the pregnancy complication has to be diagnose after this 10 months.
