| Should I choose Income Leveling? I am retiring early. I am 53, single, and have 15 more years on my mortgage. MY pension is $1486. Income leveling will add $700, ($75,600 over 9 years), bringing my pension to $2186, until age 62. Then my pension will reduce to $700. I will begin getting Social Security of $1480 at this time. I will receive $2180 until my death.
If I don't choose Income Leveling, I receive $1486, and then $1480 at 62, equaling $2966 until death.
What should I choose? |
